Terms of Service

CourtRoyale is a mobile-web-first operating system for pickleball clubs, available to players and clubs across the Philippines. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CourtRoyale website and app (the "Service").

CourtRoyale is not just a court booking app. Depending on what a club enables, CourtRoyale may support open play queues, QR check-ins, rotations, ranked nights, player profiles, leaderboards, Royal Credits, PASALO slot-transfer coordination, operator tools, and payment-related features as they become available. Not every feature is enabled for every club, and some features described in these Terms are still being rolled out in a controlled way.

You need an account to use most of CourtRoyale. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and for activity that happens under your account. Keep your login details secure and tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Club owners and operators are responsible for real-world court operations, on-site safety, house rules, and player conduct at their venues. CourtRoyale provides tools to help operators run sessions, queues, and rankings, but CourtRoyale does not operate physical courts, supervise players in person, or guarantee the conduct of any club, operator, or player.

As a player, you agree to provide truthful account information, treat other players and operators respectfully, and participate honestly in sessions, score reporting, and rankings. Submitting false scores, impersonating another player, or manipulating rankings is a violation of these Terms.

Sessions, match scores, rankings, leaderboards, badges, and titles are app-based features generated from player and operator activity. CourtRoyale may adjust, correct, or remove rankings, scores, badges, or titles to maintain fairness, correct technical errors, or address suspected abuse. Rankings and leaderboards reflect activity inside CourtRoyale and are not an official or certified ranking from any sport federation.

Royal Credits, badges, titles, and similar in-app rewards are status and app-based features only. Royal Credits have no cash value, are not money, and are not a currency, and are not withdrawable or exchangeable for cash unless CourtRoyale explicitly states otherwise in a future official policy. CourtRoyale may adjust Royal Credit balances or rewards to correct errors or prevent abuse.

PASALO is designed to help players coordinate and build trust around transferring an approved session slot to another player at the same club. PASALO is a coordination and trust tool only. It does not hold, protect, or guarantee any payment made between players. If a slot transfer involves payment, use official CourtRoyale payment flows once they are available to your club and avoid sending money directly off-platform; CourtRoyale cannot resolve disputes about money sent outside the Service.

Some CourtRoyale features, such as paid sessions or PASALO-related payments, may be introduced or expanded over time through CourtRoyale Protected Payments or similar official payment flows. These features are not available to every club today. Where payments are enabled, amounts and payment status are handled through the payment flow the club has configured. CourtRoyale does not promise a particular outcome for a payment dispute and does not guarantee refunds. Specific terms for a paid feature will be described when that feature is introduced.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players or operators.
• Submit false, manipulated, or fraudulent scores or session data.
• Impersonate another person or create fake or duplicate accounts.
• Attempt to bypass security, access controls, or rate limits.
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to facilitate off-platform scams.

CourtRoyale's FairPlay approach relies on both teams confirming a match score before it affects rankings; an unconfirmed score never changes ratings or crowns. Where a dispute arises about a score, session, or player conduct, CourtRoyale may review the available information, ask the club operator to help resolve it, or make a manual correction. CourtRoyale does not promise a particular outcome for any dispute and is not a substitute for a club's own house rules or in-person conflict resolution.

CourtRoyale is an evolving product. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed as the Service develops, including features described in these Terms. We try to give reasonable notice of material changes where practical, but the Service is provided on an "as available" basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CourtRoyale and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, disputes between players or clubs, or issues arising from in-person court activity, injuries, or payments made outside the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Nothing on CourtRoyale, including rankings, ratings, Royal Credits, or PASALO information, is professional legal, financial, or safety advice. Decisions about real-world court bookings, payments, or player safety remain the responsibility of clubs, operators, and players.

We may update these Terms as CourtRoyale grows, including as we introduce or expand features such as paid sessions, PASALO transfers, verified player tools, and official payment flows. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of CourtRoyale after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
